Read a book, any book, to your infant, toddler and/or preschooler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. You'll receive prizes as you reach milestones in the program!

Welcome to CLD&J's Adult’s Summer Reading 2026. This summer program encourages the discovery of new authors and experiences through the written (or spoken) word. Read your favorite authors and genres, revisit beloved books, and expand your repertoire with new fiction and nonfiction titles.
