Read a book, any book, to your infant, toddler and/or preschooler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. You'll receive prizes as you reach milestones in the program!

This program is designed for kids ages 0 to 4. Kids will earn one raffle ticket for every 30 minutes of reading during the program. Reading includes being read to by family members, friends, or the narrator of audiobooks! Stop by the library each week this summer and tell us what you're reading to earn a small prize.

Welcome to CLD&J's Adult’s Summer Reading 2025. This summer program encourages the discovery of new authors and experiences through the written (or spoken) word. Read your favorite authors and genres, revisit beloved books, and expand your repertoire with new fiction and nonfiction titles.
