1,000 Books

Read a book, any book, to your infant, toddler and/or preschooler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. You'll receive prizes as you reach milestones in the program!

Teen Oceans of Possibilities

For teens entering grades 6 through 12. Our goal is to encourage life-long reading habits. 

Teens will earn one raffle ticket for every 30 minutes of reading during the program. Additional raffle entries can be earned for completing activities and attending online programs.

Note: To be eligible, winners must pick up their prize at the library.

Pre-K 2022 Ocean of Possibilities

This program is designed for kids ages birth - PreK to encourage life-long reading habits. Once you've earned enough points you'll receive a completion certificate you can print and share!

Children's 2022 Ocean of Possibilities

Welcome to the CLD&J's Reading Program for Adults. This year round program encourages the discovery of new authors and experiences through the written (or spoken) word. Read your favorite authors and genres, revisit beloved books, and expand your repertoire with new fiction and nonfiction titles.
